Warm welcome to my brand new blog! As my first post I’d like to share some of my favourite books and a bit of a history so, as authors, you can have a little idea whose hands you are putting your precious manuscript in.
I had a book reviewing blog around 3-4 years ago that was very prolific with a lot of movement and colour and exciting new books. I’m very keen to get the same vibe going on here, even hoping to magnify it.
Work got in the way and I had to stop reviewing for a while. But my love of stories and adventures and other lives has me organising my time around reading new books – i’ve missed it far too much.
My personal favourite book collection if that of Tolkien, following him I have countless precious books close to my heart including books that changed the way i felt and thought, such as Freckles by Gene Stratton Porter or Scottish Chiefs by Jane Porter.
I’m excited to add your books to my collection and help you introduce them to the world!
